Sound for your sessions, your Apple Reminders tasks at the timer, an automatic Do Not Disturb and a redesigned app from the first step to your history.
New
Focus Sound: choose Forest, white, pink or brown noise to mask voices around you while you focus. It fades in and out with the session, stays silent during breaks and remembers a volume for each audio output.
Play your own music instead: a Spotify playlist in the Spotify app, or a YouTube video or playlist in a small player above Wurzel. Music starts with your session and pauses with it.
Apple Reminders: link a Reminders list to a project, pick a task when you start, tick it off at the end and get the next task offered for the following round. Nothing is completed without your click.
Turn on a macOS Focus such as Do Not Disturb while you focus, using two shortcuts you choose in the Shortcuts app.
A new three-step welcome: choose your display, decide on optional statistics and plant your first tree, for example in a short five-minute session.
Match macOS: the app can now follow your Mac’s light or dark appearance.
Improved
The menu bar panel and Quick Focus share one redesigned panel with a duration wheel, an editable minute value, routines, task and tree in one place.
Redesigned dashboard with Today, World, Progress and History, and Settings grouped into Focus, World and App with search.
While a session runs, Today shows a calm focus view with the clock, your task and the growing tree.
History groups sessions by day and searches project names and linked tasks too.
Wurzel speaks in short bubbles and shows a small session pill with the remaining time and Pause.
Running sessions use far less CPU: the forest keeps its calm idle pace while a tree grows.
Fixed
WELTEN no longer freezes after waking from sleep when a display briefly disconnects. If it ever stops responding, it restarts on its own.
The panel summary of today’s focus time is shortened to fit instead of being cut off.
